Adnet Silver Trivet 1950s

A genius extendable silver plated trivet attributed to the master of French Modernist design, Jacques Adnet (1900-1984).  Geometrically simple and functional in design. Jacques Adnet was an icon of French Art Deco Modernism, Inspired by pre-classicism  but always with a modernist twist. His innovative designs in metal, glass and leather were recognised for their modernism and he was hugely influential in expressing new interior trends of his time. French, Silver plated, 1950s.
