Charles Rennie Mackintosh Black Sideboard

Sideboard originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in the early 1920s. Defined by its elongated silhouette and architectural composition, it showcases the transition from the Glasgow Style to early Modernism. Ash wood, ash veneer, mother-of-pearl inlays, and geometric glass panels create a refined balance of depth and contrast. In good vintage condition, with signs of wear consistent with age to the wood. One lower support element shows damage; it remains structurally sound and the flaw is not visible.
