1940s, in a functionalist spirit where everyday objects are designed with real formal and material research. Italian production. Solid bronze ashtray, with a deep brown patina nuanced with golden reflections. Foundry work with a radiant, almost organic interior texture, contrasting with a smoother, structured edge. Rests on four small feet, with integrated cigarette rests. Very good condition. Beautiful original, homogeneous patina, with slight traces of use consistent with the period. Dimensions: height 4 cm, diameter 18.5 cm. Can be repurposed as a catchall or small decorative object. Easily integrates into a vintage, modernist, or brutalist interior.
