Lana Chair

The Lana Chair draws on the landscape surrounding Momostenango, where afternoon clouds settle over the highlands and centuries-old weaving traditions continue to shape daily life. Crafted with locally sourced virgin wool from the region, the upholstery follows concentric channels carved into the frame, allowing the fibers to settle naturally into the surface and soften its sculptural form. Rather than applying the textile as a finish, the Lana Bench integrates it into its construction, creating a dialogue between the monolithic solid wood and one of Guatemala's oldest textile craft traditions.
