Ossature Daybed - chêne massif et tôle d'aluminium cintrée

The sculptural “Ossature” daybed is crafted from thin sections of solid wood, glued together to create a solid and sturdy frame, without resorting to thick sections of wood. Using eight structural bolts, the daybed can be easily assembled and disassembled. The design features clean, industrial lines: wide legs sheathed in wood, a backrest with an airplane-wing-shaped profile made of brushed, riveted aluminum sheet, an aluminum tube crossbar, and large structural bolts, all of which complete this structure made almost entirely of wood. A tatami mat serves as the mattress for this daybed. Here crafted from a blend of Sipo and oak, the structure can also be made from other wood species. Limited Edition of 10.
