The ladder back ascends to 110cm in calculated asymmetry — a postmodern reinterpretation of Mackintosh’s high-back language, filtered through the rigour of a Lisbon metal atelier. Evidently an architectural commission: the proportions are too considered for production furniture, the execution too precise for a one-off experiment. As individual objects they read as sculpture. Arranged as a dining set, they transform the table into something closer to a stage. Set of four.
