Rare Ceramic Pitcher by Albert Thiry, 1950

Glazed stoneware pitcher by Albert Thiry, Vallauris, France, circa 1970. Of cylindrical form with a large handle, it is covered in a creamy-white glaze nuanced with green and brown tones. The upper section is decorated with an incised geometric frieze characteristic of the ceramicist’s decorative vocabulary. Unsigned. Perfect condition. Dimensions: H 25 × W 15 × D 10 cm.
