For the discerning collector of glass, Akua Objects presents the Rosenborg Table Lamp - a sculptural lighting object defined by playful swirling contrasts and a subtle homage to Venetian craftsmanship. Handmade in Murano, each piece reflects the enduring traditions of old-world Venice, reimagined through Akua’s contemporary design language. The design originated from some of Annika’s most instinctive drawings to date. Developed through a series of cardboard studies, the silhouette was guided by the ambition to create an object with antique charm and a distinctly refined modern expression. The table lamp continues the collection’s rounded, Art Deco-inspired forms, enriched with contrasting dots and swirling details that lend the piece its sophisticated yet enchanting character. Designed to create atmosphere as much as illumination, the lamp brings warmth and sculptural presence to a room. The palette draws inspiration from the luminous beauty of ancient stones and pearls. Shades of amethyst, jade, coral, and turquoise influence both the colours and decorative details throughout the Rosenborg Collection, creating a piece that feels at once precious, timeless, and distinctly modern.
