Set of 4 chair "SE18" by Claire Bataille & Paul Ibens for Spectrum 60's

The SE18 was designed by Belgian duo Claire Bataille and Paul Ibens for Dutch manufacturer Spectrum in the 1960s. A continuous chrome-plated tubular steel frame supports two thick black leather slings — seat and back — with no padding or upholstery. The construction is entirely structural. This set of four is in remarkable condition for its age. The leather shows a consistent, natural patina across all four chairs, with no cracks or tears. Chrome frames are structurally sound and visually matched. Sets of four SE18 chairs in this condition are rarely found on the secondary market.
