Iconic 'Petala' side table by Jorge Zalszupin, designed circa 1959 for L'Atelier, São Paulo. A masterpiece of Brazilian mid-century modernism, featuring sculpted organic forms in rosewood. Zalszupin, born in Warsaw in 1922 and trained as an architect in Bucharest, emigrated to Brazil in 1949 and became one of the most refined voices of Brazilian modernism. In good condition, sold from Paris.
