Speaking Chair in Hand Carved Nordic Fir Wood

Hand carved from Nordic fir, with a carved recessed seat and sculptural, architectural form. The wood is lightly charred to emphasize the natural grain, then stained and finished with hard wax oil for a deep, durable surface. Each piece carries small variations from the making process, making it as much a functional chair as a one-off object. Seat height: 450mm. Shipped in a custom wooden crate.
