The Move swivel chair and footstool designed by Takshi Okamura & Erik Marquardsen in the 1970s for Nelo Mobel, is a unique example of cooperation incorporating Swedish craftsmanship with Japanese philosophy on industrial design. Supple black leather set on a beechwood frame that swivels, makes the chair and footstool extremely comfortable and in very good condition. The design balances a sculptural silhouette with purposeful comfort. The gently reclined form and generous proportions encourage relaxed seating, while the sculpted contours and mixed materials articulate a thoughtful approach to both posture and presence.
